Oppression (1996)

A dark tonal painting with heavy sky. In this painting the walls lean starkly inwards. On the right the top of the camp posts lean to link up with the house. The wall of her bedroom is only partially seen. In front of it Anne's head is visible behind the bars stretching over the bedroom wall. Below is the entrance or exit of the staircase surrounded by dark areas of colour.
